Terms of Service

The service

ClipMix lets you assemble Mixes — ordered playlists of time ranges from YouTube videos ("clips") — and watch them as continuous videos. Videos are played through YouTube's player; ClipMix does not host, own, or store any video content.

Your account

You can watch Mixes without an account. Creating content automatically gives you an anonymous account; signing in with Google, Discord, or Facebook upgrades it to a full account and lets you publish.

You are responsible for the activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use ClipMix. Provide accurate information and keep the sign-in credentials you hold with your provider secure.

YouTube

ClipMix uses YouTube API Services. By using ClipMix you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. Video availability is controlled by YouTube and its content owners, and a video referenced by a Mix may become unavailable at any time.

Your content

You keep all rights you have in the content you create on ClipMix — your clip selections, titles, descriptions, and comments. By posting it, you grant ClipMix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the service so we can operate it (for example, showing your public Mixes to other users).

You are responsible for the content you create and must have the rights to share it. Published Mixes are content-immutable: their clips cannot be changed after publishing — editing creates a new draft instead — though you can still edit a Mix's title, description, and visibility, or remove it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use ClipMix to:

• break any law or infringe anyone's rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
• post content that is harassing, hateful, deceptive, or otherwise harmful;
• circumvent YouTube's terms or the rights of content owners;
• interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service; or
• access the service through automated means except as permitted by our robots.txt.

Moderation and reporting

Users can report Mixes and comments. We may review, remove, or restrict any content, and suspend or terminate any account, at our discretion — particularly where these Terms are violated — with or without notice.

Intellectual property

The ClipMix name, logo, and software are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use them except as needed to use the service. All video content remains the property of its respective owners on YouTube.

Disclaimers

ClipMix is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that videos referenced by Mixes will remain available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClipMix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using ClipMix and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do, and your continued use of ClipMix after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye.
