What is ClipMix?
ClipMix is a free tool for making Mixes — ordered playlists of YouTube clips (specific time ranges from videos) that play back to back as one continuous video. Learn more about ClipMix.
Is ClipMix free?
Yes. Watching and creating Mixes is completely free, and you can start without an account.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed to watch Mixes, and you can build and save drafts anonymously. You only need to sign in — with Google or Discord — when you want to publish a Mix under your name.
How is a Mix different from a YouTube playlist?
A YouTube playlist queues up whole videos. A Mix is made of clips — the exact start-to-end sections you choose — so it plays only the parts you kept, from one or many videos, with no gaps in between.
How do I make a Mix?
Click Create, paste a YouTube link, set each clip's start and end times, and add the clips you want in the order you want. The guide walks through it step by step.
Can I loop a single video?
Yes. The Loop tool lets you repeat any section of a single YouTube video endlessly (an A–B repeat), and you can save the result as a Mix.
What do public, unlisted, and private mean?
Public Mixes can be found by anyone and may appear in search. Unlisted Mixes are reachable only with the link. Private Mixes are visible only to you.
Can I edit a Mix after publishing?
You can edit a published Mix's title, description, and visibility at any time. The clips themselves stay fixed so existing links keep playing the same thing — to change the clips, re-mix the Mix into a new draft.
Does ClipMix download videos or strip the audio?
No. ClipMix never downloads videos and doesn't offer audio-only playback. Everything plays through YouTube's official player, and each clip links back to its source.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. ClipMix runs in any modern mobile or desktop browser — there's nothing to install.
What languages is ClipMix available in?
ClipMix's interface is available in several languages. Use the language selector in the header to switch between them.
How do I delete my account or data?
You can delete your account and everything tied to it at any time from Settings → Delete account. Anonymous accounts are removed automatically after a period of inactivity. See the data deletion page for details.
How do I report a Mix?
If a Mix breaks the rules, use the Report option on its page (you'll need to be signed in). Reports are reviewed and acted on manually.
